TOPPING-OUT CEREMONY OF THE NITTO HƯNG YÊN FACTORY PROJECT – A SIGNIFICANT MILESTONE IN THE CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS

The Topping-out Ceremony of the Nitto Hung Yen Factory Project was recently held at Thang Long II Industrial Park, marking the completion of the main structural works and the transition to the next phase of finishing and systems installation. This is one of the major industrial projects in Hung Yen Province, developed by Nitto Vietnam to high technical standards to meet the manufacturing needs of electronic components and LCD polarizing films for both domestic and international markets.

The project is constructed on a land area of over 33,000 m², with a total floor area of nearly 76,000 m², comprising the main factory building and a full range of auxiliary facilities. Commencing in late 2024, the project is expected to complete its construction phase by the end of 2025 before moving into equipment installation and commissioning throughout 2026. As the Project Management Consultant and Supervision Consultant, 3C has been closely accompanying the project’s overall schedule, coordinating with the Investor and the Main Contractor to ensure each milestone meets the required quality standards and the goal of commencing operations in the second half of 2026.

Throughout the structural construction phase, 3C acknowledges the professionalism and close coordination among the Investor, the Main Contractor, and all on-site contractors. The foundation, beams, slabs, steel structures, and roof deck were executed in accordance with approved methods, ensuring safety and strict compliance with Nitto’s technical standards. The timely completion leading to the topping-out ceremony demonstrates strong alignment in project management, effective risk control, and the commitment of all participating parties.

The topping-out event also marks the transition to a stage requiring higher levels of technical precision, particularly in finishing works, MEP systems, and production environment control. During this phase, 3C will continue to uphold its technical supervision role, coordinating inspections and acceptances, reviewing design documentation and construction methodologies, and supporting the Investor in ensuring comprehensive quality control for each critical component of the factory.

At the ceremony, representatives of all parties acknowledged the efforts of the project team in maintaining progress, ensuring quality, and upholding safety throughout the construction process. These achievements establish a solid foundation for the upcoming phases, contributing to the project’s goal of timely completion and commissioning.
